Can i unlock a palm pre for AT&t?

i want to get a palm pre, but only if i know that i can unlock it so i can put my AT&T sim in it. thanks for the help,

and what other service providers do they have the pre for?

depends on the pre. if it’s a sprint, no as sprint uses cdma and at&t uses gsm.

Nope. Sorry. AT&T runs on a GSM network, that’s why you have a SIM card. Sprint (Palm Pre) and Verizon (Palm Pre Plus) both run on CDMA or EVDO networks. Completely unrelated technologies. It’s the same reason iPhone can’t run on Verizon.

You cannot use a US Palm Pre on AT&T because they are not GSM phones. A GSM palm Pre was introduced in Europe and Mexico last year. If you can find one of these and unlock it (or buy it unlocked), it could be used on AT&T.

In the US, the Palm Pre is available for Sprint and Verizon.

i once have unlocked my palm treo using codes from jus try if your phone and the current network is listed for unlocking service
