Palm Pre or Blackberry Curve 8330 for iPod Touch owner?

I’m trying to decide between the Palm Pre and the Blackberry Curve 8330. The Palm Pre is obviously a nicer phone, but I already own an iPod Touch which has many similar features such as wifi and a sweet web browser. I love the iPod Touch and I’d go with an iPhone if the plans weren’t so expensive.

So I’m wondering if it would be pointless to own a Palm Pre if I already have an iPod Touch and plan on keeping it for the great variety of apps, etc. Should I just go with the Blackberry Curve for e-mail and texting, and keep the iPod Touch for multimedia/wifi web browsing?

i am an iphone owner and VERY happy but givin that thats not an option for you… go with the pre… i have played with both and i like the operating system better.

I used to be an incredibly satisfied iPhone owner but when I realized how cheap the Pre plans were in comparison the magic was lost.

I recently traded “down” to the Pre but quickly realized that it wasn’t down at all. I’ve now got an iPod touch to house all of my favorite apps from my old iPhone and I use my Pre for non-wifi browsing (score checking, quick references, etc, etc) and my iPod touch from home or wherever I can find WiFi. (There’s even a way to turn your pre into an ad-hoc WiFi network and use it on your iPod touch anywhere you have Sprint signal – albeit unauthorized by Sprint/Palm)

For further reference, I also have a Curve 8300 Series (can’t remember which exact model) for work and I can’t imagine using it as my personal phone. The Pre’s messaging system and multitasking abilities are just too good!
