When will they launch the palm pre app store?

It was suppose to be out today september 24th, but nothing has changed. Also the app catalog stil has the “beta form” sign meaning nothing has changed. Anyone know when the app store launched and how many apps will be available to buy?

it was technically released a long time ago. it just hasn’t been available for sdk yet. i haven’t heard anything about the sdk being open yet but expecting by the end of the year. i think there will be 1000 apps by july next year.
