how/when will there be more application for the new palm pre by sprint. and wht is this beta crap?

The pay-for store opens mid-September. Beta means the interface has not been codified yet, so this is a placeholder app until the full retail interface has been released.

This phone is Linux, so you are capable of putting whatever you want to on it if you have the skills. Otherwise go sign up at precentral.net and get the FREE homebrew apps there. 143 apps there as of this writing and very few duplicates. (only 1 **** app)
