That’s weird that the “update” button didn’t work. I know I downloaded my update by accident. I tried downloading the Facebook App from the App catalog and it told me in order to download it I had to first download 1.3.1 and it gave me the option to do so.
This is a really “weird” approach but it worked for me. I don’t know if you want to try that but you can always delete the facebook app if you don’t want to use it. Hope it works =-)
